James was born into a litter of 6 puppies, all boys. Disappointed that I didn't get a girl, they were dubbed the "Blues Brothers". The disappointment was short lived. Before 2 years of age James was the #1 Golden in the country with 6 BIS's including the International KC of Chicago. He held this rank for the next 3 years. Just before his 5th birthday James retired as the top winning BIS Golden in breed history. I am especially proud that he achieved this breeder/owner handled. James lives on through more than 100 AKC Champion offspring with many BIS's and BISS's from the USA and Canada.
